Letter [manuscript]. 1931.

Original letter written by Mrs. E. M. Bohr, granddaughter of Andrew (William) Todd. In this she provides a hand written copy of a letter written by Ann Charles (previously the wife of the deceased William Todd), dated April 27th 1887, in which she described the sojourn of her husband as a member of John Batman's party in May, 1835. Mrs. Bohr's letter was presented to the State Library on April 24th 1931.

William Todd (official first name of Andrew) was a member of John Batman's first party. He was responsible for drawing up the document for the sale of land between Batman and the Port Phillip Aborigines.
